If I was at home and not broke I would go,

I went to teapartyclub meet up im York a few weeks ago; much fun and tea was had by all (apart fromt he person who had hot chocolate), the viking festival was on and we had some great reactions from some of the reenactors, went to the york musem and took some pictures on the victorian street then went to Bettys for tea.

Pic here, http://community.livejournal.com/teapartyclub/40980.html#cutid1
I'm the realy short one in in the black coat with the bow hanging outside and the white hair ribbons next to the fake horse.

Going back to the start of the thread, I've gotta agree with you, I love Wa-Loli too. I think it may be my favourite, with Punk-Loli coming in a close second.
I'm still pretty much a Lolita fashion newbie, and although I love the style, even if I had the money I wouldn't wear it everyday.
I do like the idea of taking inspiration from it though, and incorporating bits of the style into everyday wear ^-^
After reading the Tokyopop editions of Gothic&Lolita Bible, I now LOVE h.NAOTO and Putumayo.
I do love lolita fashion though, and actually ended up learning a lot more about it when I used it as the theme for my art coursework.

I do like lolita fashion.
I think my favourites would be EGL/EGA, gothic lolita and punk lolita.
I want to start making my own dresses and clothes but my skills aren't too great...
I do also like Visual Kei...

Yeah, I just make stuff by eye, but then I'm lazy and not a perfectionist so yeah...
But if you want to use patterns, there are quite a few, or some that you could alter a little bit XD

Haha I dunno, its on E4 all the time, which is practically the only channel I watch, so i saw it aaages ago XD

Aaand Kawaii_Onigrri; ooh thats not good >.< I guess you could try handsewing but that would take aaages...you could always make accessories and keep a lookout for loli-able stuff in shops like H&M that you could modify? They sometimes have quite good stuff =)

Yeah, I have been looking at shops that I could modify, especially charity shops. There was this really pretty polka dot skirt at one but I didn't buy it...=s
Sadly my parents are very strict with what I buy and tell me to only get necessary things...=/
I was thinking of doing it by hand but it will take an awful long time...
I want to make two dresses similar to the ones in 'Parent Trap'.
xD
They're very pretty and quite simple...

Ugh thats a shame >.< You could always handmake stuff if its your only option, although considering what brand costs, your parents should be relieved if you only look in charity shops lol
I haven't seen the parent trap though, so i can't comment on the dresses =]

The one on the left. It's just blue...And quite childish which I like...
I want to begin making my own dresses...xD
Mainly because there aren't many dresses in the shops that I really like...

I've seen it around 3 times in around 5 months...
It keeps coming on TV...xD
I watched it today.
I would, but my parents aren't very trustworthy....
Especially internet shopping...
They dislike it when I want to buy stuff off ebay and amazon and stuff...

I've gone a bit crazy recently;

First it was The Meta princess crown bouquet print skirt to match the accessories
Along with a new parasol, also from Meta;
Then a Meta lucky pack (hopefully will come tomorrow, its in the country and the tracking page is tormenting me).

and now I am having to sell things becuse I want
http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/shoes/133911.html in off white so badly.

It arrived!
Image

This was the 5000yen pack (an A pack, 7500 with shipping).
Image

The skirt I wasn't expecting, or at least I wasn't expecting to get a print like that (candy house);
The bloomers and socks I was, since they seem to be pretty standard items for most LPs.

I'm glad I avoided the lepoard heart print pants so many other have ended up with (the A pack people seem to have got the best deal).
I'm happy with it and will be keeping it all.
