Anyone going to Memorabilia?

Just wanted to see who is going to Memorabilia in November. C:
I'm not sure if i'm going yet,it's so close to my birthday. DX So,anyone going? :3

I hope to be going - have been to about 3 past Memorabilia events, they are good fun even if you don't want to meet any of the guests.

I love memrabilia, but didnt go last time. the guests were so poor. They gonna have to up the guests for November. Guests as good as Greg Grunberg and Rob Van Dam again please!

I would like them to try and get Andrew J. Robinson again (he had to cancel last time) and Casey Biggs! Cardassians rule, lol.

What you need to remember and take into account is that we did not own the last event Memorabilia ran, that was organised by another company.

We took over on May 1st 08.

We have a lot in the pipeline but do not expect enormous changes over night it will take a few shows.

I've been to a couple of Memorabilias, so I'd consider going again if I had the time and money.

I literally live a few train stops away, so I always go. Hopefully, with it being taken over, more people will be convinced to cosplay, which I've always found to be the dramatic let down when comparing to the London Expo.

Great to see Memorabilia is happening again, and with MCM running the show I'd expect it to be a more polished event.
Does anyone know if allstarsignings will still be involved?
The main reason I go to Memorabilia is to meet the sports stars and allstarsignings get some really big names to attend.
Looking forward to the guest announcement's for Novembers show.

Yes we can confirm that All Stars will continue their association with MCM Expo and will be at the MEMORABILIA event.

I'll probably be going. I live very close to Birmingham, so it's sort of easy for me xD

I might go if the event is more guests oriented than the current version of Expo. I mean I still like going to Expo because I can meet quickly a few great guests and I can do that because it's located in London and therefore cheap for me to come for just one day (Eurostar being cheaper than a flight, no hotel room to pay). If I have to go to Birmingham, I'll have to take a flight and come for the week-end, so spending at least one night there. Therefore, I will come only if there are more guests than what is the case at the moment at Expo. The first guest announced is great, so hoping that the event will develop following that way. Some more horror guests would be nice to get along with Wes, like for example Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, the Avellan twins, etc ... who are doing another horror event the week before Memorabilia somewhere else in Europe.

MEMORABILIA is not the MCM Expo events.

We will be keeping the MEMORABILIA ethos and not trying to change it but expand on it.

Guests play a big part in the MEMORABILIA shows and will continue to do so, but yes we will be changing certain aspects which does not mean that we will be competing against ourselves or our own MCM Expo events as others do.

The changes will come in over the next few events so do not expect to see everything all at once.

i dont know i just joined mcm exp i was there at the previous one. So its all new i might go check it out. But the queue for buying tickets ha-ha wooah that was long and some guys infront of us were doing some nasty stuff, so we just tried avoiding them.

I have considered going to the Memorbilia, but a lot of people have said the Amine/Manga section is small and I only ever go to events just for Amine/Manga part. If the Amine section remains small then theres a likely chance that I won't attend even though I'm living in Birmingham

I usually attend, though in cosplay ... Doesn't seem RIGHT going to what is considered a convention - even one such as memorabilia - without a costume.

I love memorabilia, because its one of those the whole family can enjoy. With the LondonExpos and such its not -really- suited to everyone's tastes, is it? I think there is a lot more variety at Memorabilia, even if it IS smaller.

Quite possibly I'll be using my Seras Victoria costume. I went as Alucard from Hellsing before, and its quite amazing how many fans of the show were actually there.

I never see many cosplayers there though o_o The once when I was Alucard someone actually came over and went "oh my god, you're like.. the ONLY cosplayer here." and took my photo o_O
