Random question:
Did anyone else think the staff service this weekend completely sucked?
Except for that guard guy who came up during the 3rd floor corridor trioka-fest, who was lovely, we thought they were all horribly rude.

I did as well, the security guard has always been a really nice chap. I remember him from previous occasions. The woman on the front desk on the Sunday night was extremely aggressive and belligerent accusing us of being part of another noisy group. If you want to do something about it, the PTI normally send out customer satisfaction questionnaires to whoever booked the rooms after there stay is over. Make sure you put your grievances down and something will be done.

We weren't even told, but we could have asked for a refund due to that woman's rudeness.
When we asked if we could store our bags, she said "no room" and glared at us. Seriously, no apology in her voice at all.

i didnt really see many of the staff so i dont know if they were rude or not, tho some of them were giving me funny looks while i was in cosplay, id assumed they would have been used to it.

the staff must have HATED us- I heard there were some complaints about people running around- myself and my friend were kept awake by noisy cosplayers too >_<

We all got a 'formal complaint' at quite a few points, I think it was just them though.
In other words they told us 'GTFO' politely. D:

Most of the others were lovely though!

I got shouted at for having no shoes and socks because I ran to find a cardkey because I locked myself out. -I'm dumb, yes.- D:
She litterly shouted at me 'GET SOME SHOES ON' and walked off. D:<

speaking of the bar i got told it was going to stay open till 1 so i was looking forward to getting a drink when i got back after the ball but it was shut now im not an alcoholic but tom said he still wasnt drunk enough. (turns out he had a hangover on sunday )

i really enjoyed my stay at the PTI, didnt really talk to any of the staff.
except when i checked out and said what a nice comfy beds they had ^^
and also the woman at the desk when i got an extra key on saturday was rather shocked to find a kunai in her pen area XD
she gave it to me LOL
she held it like it was infected or something.

The only memorable bit when I stayed for a bit at the PTI (friend were there) was the Fire Brigade XD. They loved it when we started doing the carameldansen in front of them and even beeped at us goodbye as they left .

Premier Inn was really awesome.

Especially Sunday night/Monday morning in the early hours, up on the fifth floor, had a brilliant time =D

I was in a room with the Zombie Jesus, among other people.

Met so many nice people there, and the lunch was really nice.

This was the first expo I managed to persuade my parents to let me stay the weekend and I'm already planning for May, Premier again OBV.

Look forward to seeing everyone again =D

Saturday night I decided to zombify myself a tiny bit early, and stalker the staircase at the Premier Inn. Zombie Jesus leaping around corners and yelling "RAWWWWRRRR!" seemed to only make people laugh.
Some guy nearly cryed though, and there was this little blonde girl who almost fell over when she jumped a mile.
Sat in the halls for a bit too and pretended to be dead as three businessmen in suits walked past all creeped out like.
All the yelling gave me such a painful sore throat.

It could be helpful for anyone who met someone at the hotel and could be trying to find them again now. xD

You know after we met on the stairs when you scared my friend, I came looking for you to scare you back, but you'd gone. BOOOOO!

Premier Inn was epic as always, comfortable stay. The staff were alright but I think they were getting a bit fed up with the noise, and from what I heard about Friday night, I can't blame them for being a bit miffed. I spoke to the bar man who told me a few guests had complained and had to be refunded money, and some of the cosplayers had actually smashed bottles outside. They stopped serving drinks to people of a certain age as well after all of that.
Fair enough, it's a fun weekend, but pleeassse don't go overboard. To those people who did cause trouble.. Have a drink, have fun, but respect the other guests and try and keep it down a little and BEHAVE! The last thing we want is our Expo meets to get a bad name because of something like this.
