My First Expo

hi am new to

I can not wait to im going as nero

Im book everthing (except the expo ticket) now because beeing the half team I can only imagine that prise like hotels and train ticket will go up.

Where are you traving from because I found a great hotel only 2 train stop (5 min max) or a 20 min walk to expo and it cheap at this time of the year.

travelling from scarborough. probably get a hotel close by so i can just walk it and put on the more unstable parts of my cosplay at the expo.

Heh its my first expo too, Going as Luffy and proud to be probably the only Luffy on wheels hehe

For me its just to know who going, I have not been and I can tell its going to rule, lots of people to get free hugs from, and hopefully lots peeps to get camara happy with ^^

stay at the PTI its the best place to stay
and you will meet lots of great people there as alot of people stay there
if you do u will more than likely b dragged to a party of some sort cos i no theres a bleach sake party going on there on the friday night and all cosplayers are welcome to join.

It the prise of the hotel I would have love to stay at the hotal you there talking about I seen there wed page but it the money I prise a hotel near expo and an other hotel that was 2 stop away and the diffrent in prize was £100 diffrent but you get what you pay.

I don' t know which hotel to stay at an suggestion ??????

And for the newbs - ALWAYS BUY YOUR WIG EARLY! If you're wearing a wig that is - some of the companies take their timein shipping them out!

And yeah, getting wigs early is a great idea. I remember the fuss last October that the postal strike caused!

On another note about hotels/apartments. If your not staying in a big group then the apartments will be very pricey and a hotel might be better for you. I think many on the boards stay at the Custom House but there are quite a few in that area but at various prices. If you do choose a hotel I recommend not booking it via the hotel directly as you can get cheaper deals through other sites. London30.com is good. I've used them alot when I've stayed up in London and the prices are really cheap/reasonable

Custom House is the only one they've got a deal with atm but prices start from £24 per night pp. Not bad considering standard rate is £145 pn.

ok trying to work out how much all of this is gonna cost. travel, i'll be getting in at kings cross station, whats the best way to get to PTI at excel?

Well i've been there and back and i must say i thoroughly enjoyed the experience. saw some great cosplays, took some great pics and got myself a Death Note which was a must get. didn't talk to as many as i would of liked but maybe next time i can get to know some of you better.

I got some great reaction from my Kaze - final fantasy unlimited cosplay and to those who were interested, thank you. my next cosplay willbe more epic. (see sig for details).
