Herts area?

Postby Wildeth on Thu Sep 18, 2008 4:55 pm

Anyone going to the Expo from Hertfordshire? If so, how are you getting there? I'm going from St Albans and I want to know the best way to get to the expo.

I'm from the Watford area, and I'll be going up there by train. Its pretty straightforward once you get to the DLR line, the nearest station to Expo is on that line, and its literally a thirty second walk from there.

[Jackstraw] Do you travel from Watford Junction, or from the Watford Met station?

(Oh, and do you cosplay at all? XDD)

Most likely from the Watford Met. I don't know why, but I love the Met line. And yes, I will be cosplaying as the Scarecrow. The Batman villain that is, not the chap from the Wizard of Oz.

Heh, I'd love to travel in costume, but sadly my outfit is a regular looking business suit with a mask like in my avatar. Going onto a London train in a full face mask might cause some...problems. Like, police problems. Whatever, I'm probably just being paranoid. I'll put it on when I get on the last train there though!

I'm going in a black t-shirt, tan baggy combats, a black bead bracelet, white shoes, orange cat ears and a bright orange wig... fun. xD

I'm the only one coming from Hertfordshire not cosplaying I think =P In my defense most of my costumes (Stormtrooper, Darth Vader etc etc bit of a Star Wars fan)are worth too much to risk around glompers xD

Well, I have a sack large enough to cover my head! Now I just need to do some heavy altering to it. Maybe I'll get a deodarant can and decorate it to look like a canister of fear gas. Y'know, just so I have a prop.
