well the fans can be brought in the chinese stores that are normally in china towns... they normally have plain ones, but if not you could rip off the paper and stick on your own lol ... however i do think they would be a lil too heavy to carry in one hand!

what i would do is get a huge peice of cardboard and draw out the wooden shapes of the fan when it is opened... cut it out and paper mache it once with PVA and TISSUE PAPER... leave to draw and then and satin (cos its light) for the whole of the fan... and the decorations at the sides use peices of white card and cut out the shapes and slowly build them up then paint and glaze!... they should be less heavy! and you wont get much of a cramp lol... they still be slightly heavy and you will need rest from lifting them for too long... but they shall be easier to move about and carry! plus cheaper lol :p

Thank you, That is a really good idea ^^ i have a huge fan anyway so i think i may be able to handle the weight, i can use that one to practice movements, and archery can always strengthen my arms! So Now time for arts and crafts, WOOOOOO

Hey, I will definately be doing DW ^^ with my kacela-sama!

I THINK i will be doing Ling Tong DW5 in white but i was thinking sun ce originally but i see he is already 'possibly taken' so if sato-san if you could let me know asap if you will be doing sun ce so i can try make my ever changing mind up =p

but whoever i finally decide it will def be DW and this group will be amazing as long as you don't mind me joining =p?

me and haku loves zabuza are doing zhao yun(me) and Lu bu(hakuloveszabuza) together ^^ from dynasty warriors 6, reason for it being then is cas these costumes wil take a while to do lol

my painting aint great but it'll do.. also.. i have made the best that they velcro too its just rubbish so its balled up behind them

and it all strung together with the trousers.... (i need moar fabric paint lol)

::edit:: the armour belt thing is too high up. i will rectify this soon .
