Final Fantasy cosplays? Read first post.

Okay I totally failed in making a new skirt for Rinoa *sobs* so I'm going to have to attempt to patch up my old one tomorrow. I feel like I have failed as a cosplayer, can't even make a blasted simple mini-skirt >_<

Skirts aren't really as simple as you might think. Because you have to make them big enough to fit over your bum.
Don't feel like a failiure,, it happens. You just need to practive a litte more. :3

i actually made mine like a wrap round rather than an actual skirt if that helps at all?? it only took a couple of hours as well ^_^
but don't feel bad! i mean mine doesn't look that great being bigger an all >_> but as long as you do your best (which you clearly have) and you have a good time at the end of it it shouldn't matter in my opinion ^_^ at least you can say you tried right? im sure it'll look awesome ^_^

@Silver: one more thing, looking at the weather for Saturday its not looking too good T_T could you suggest an area either indoors or under cover somewhere in case it does rain?? *prays that it doesn't* just so people know where to go. Obviously i mean an actual downpour lol not just a little cloud etc.

Yeah that's how I did mine but Silver's right you need room for your bum so it gaped at the top and then when pulled the fabric in at the top and put a zip in while attempting to get it on the zip broke >_< The fabric I brought for the new skirt was slightly too dark for my liking also (brought online so couldn't tell well).
So yeah currently attempting to bring in the waist of my old one and do it up at the back via buttons rather than a zip. I mean you never see the back of her skirt thanks to the duster anyway.

I think everyone appreciates the amount of work u put into it so any snappinest would have been fine by most people i think especially me im thankful u let me get my pics taken pretty quick i was getting a little cold lol

It really sucks that we missed each other. I had myself and my Lulu on Seph-watch for you, and I think I just caught a glimpse of you as you went up the steps (we were randomly sitting outside at the time) but you were gone before we could go after you. Shame, as you make such an awesome Sephiroth.

But if you're going to May I'll be there again as Genesis (with his rapier and possible OWA version if I can figure out how on earth to do it). Even if you're not doing Seph then will have to get pics.

To everyone: It was really amazing meeting all you guys over the weekend - you really made my first expo incredible and the best weekend of my life. All of you are awesome people (and so nice to talk to) and special thanks to Silver for organising everyone and the shoots. I can't wait to see you all again in May - just look out for the random Genesis with attached Lulu once again ^--^.

I agree with everyone that i as well really appreiciated the amount of work & effort you put in to organising the shoot & rounding people up on the day etc. you had every right to be snappy lol i know i would have been in your posistion xDD

but was very well worth it xDD i had an awesome time with the FF shoot on both days despite the cold weather sunday xDD & was also AWESOME meeting all you guys, your all so nice!! Can't wait to see you all again xDD

I went outside at half 12 but because the record attempt was on, it was so crowded, and I couldn't figure out where to go.
Saw you's all doing the photoshoot on the Sunday, ya's all looked great!

It happened around same time as the record attempt because i missed the record photoshoot cause i was with the FF group we were by the water

yes thanks silver you where great! being snappy after how mad the weekend was is understandable.

i have been looking high and low for the photos of the ff shoot in the entrance on sunday but can't find any at all!! we where stuck their nearly for an hour and plenty of people stopped so would be great to see them.....maybe all the photo people don't know about the forum lol
