Though I am currently having a sleep-deprived (blame it on the 16hr shift I just got back from) moment and can't remember the character's name now XD;;

I suppose all I'd have to do is 93887463% more embroidery with a white cloak with those insanely difficult standing collars XD

By Jo've I'll Try It!

All I would need to do would be make the normal tailcoat, but instead of having a Black cloak have a white one, then add half a cloak for the over-cloak in red. Embroiden that (Looks uber-hard, will have to buy embroidering machine = Massive cost increase =_=) and then add the embroidery on the tail coat front.

I still can't think hw I could make those collars without crudley putting cardboard inside of them, or using fishing wire attached to each of them, pulling them tight ( I wouldn't mind doing that XD )

And is it just me or does that photo look slightly "Urm" in the "Preference" of Charles? o_O

How about making those guildings as armour? Like they have for Trinity Blood Cosplays? It uses something called "craftfoam" (Yup, complete n00b... XD)

Pulling that Emperor would gain you alot of kudos but that goes without saying. While you brainstorm over that I'll sit in the corner wondering how I'm going to make a cape.

As listed, I'll be Nunnally in the rather massive group that Rosiael put together. Will be having much homework-less nights figuring out how to make the chair cover / kidnapping an expo chair to pimp the heck out of.
Any advice? ._.

Hmm... Nunnaly chair...

Here's an idea (it's for my Tachikoma cosplay next year):

Get a normal chair and then make a frame on top of it out of peices of wood dowling (just make a rectangle shape) then make a cloth cover that you can slide over the frame (For the frame imagine a zimmer frame XD )


Thus, you can have a portable frame and a cover that's easy to carry! Woo~

And I you didn't understand a word of that I don't blame you because it's very hard to explain. XD

A cape is easy! It's just the golden guilding that will be a challenge =_=

Here's the best thing to do:

Get a large towel and put it on your back, look how it falls (especialy at the collar) then change accordingly.

The gold bits - I've no idea. I think for mine seeing as they look raised on that picture, I will make them out of craft foam (Seth Nightlord's Hat style armour).

Making the collar out of craftfoam is the best option, under heat the foam will bend only to set firm in the shape that you bent it to.

Progress report: Measurements currently being taken but I've yet to remember how high I actually am. Next up the suit.

I've been to the fabric cutter to ask if I drop the cloth off on Wednesday to ask when he can have the patterns ready... And he's shut till monday next next week! =_= That means 2 weeks with no cosplay to make... Urg... I might die of boredom...

I'm buying my extensions for the curles on Wednesday, and some craft foam for the guildings, etc...

Has anyone got any progress pictures? I'll have the wig up on Wednesday!

Acording to Lina, lighten with foundation and then apply eyebrow mascara. It's a fun filled trip to the makeup aisle of Boots, yay!
