We've been practising sitting funny, and playing 'L Pong' (Table tennis, but you hold the bats like L).

That sounds so cuute!! I want pictures!! But I can only go on Sunday

Sadly, our friend has betrayed us and dropped out on account of him being fattened too far with croissant pudding...

If you are going to buy it off the internet, you'd better be fast. It'll be busy cos of halloween and wigs can take a while in the post depending from where they're coming from.

Ooohhh, sounds nice I can't believe there's only 2 weeks untill the expo! I really need white tights, I gave up on making bloomers ages ago. It is soooo hard to find adult white tights... I may just get white over the knee socks but my silly dress only just covers my knees without the big poofy skirt underneath... Oh well, I'll find something.

L = easiest cosplay i think, other D.N characters has a bit more to it then L but i like to see L cosplayers its fun

not only is it easier to cosplay its cheaper! which is handy becasue i had already spent most of my money before getting the outfit.

I'm going as Mello!
I don't own any cosplay, but I managed to find some very Mello like stuff including a coat, gloves and a rosary, except the rosary is blue...

I have a ryuk costume (needs a bit of work but it's basically there)

I wore it last october, Saturday.
But I don't think I'll wear it again until it's finished and my friend is happy wit her misa costume - we need to learn some hair skillz. She has the right haircut, we just don't know the technical procedure to make it do the big.. thing.. in the picture... the pwooofy thing....
and my wig for ryuk sucks mirrorballs.

It was my second ever cosplay and i am a gurl.
bandages and safetey pins and ENDLESS readjustment.

Info on costume (in case you fancy doing your own)
joke shop black fingernails glued onto long black gloves, a tight LS Black top, three rolls of bandages to get rid of bewbs, black skinny jeans, skirt thingy (needs work), mask was made from air-drying modelling clay on top of a plastic mask and painted with acrylics. The belt was an old piece of suede with a bunch of belt decorations made out of the same modeling clay as the mask. The wig was a mullet wig, minus the long bit, plus a can or five of hairspray (but i need a better wig tbh). The shoes were pointy shoes, with black felt glued on top to make them look like boots. The feathers were a nightmare. I had to spend half an hour chasing geese so they'd ruffle their feathers and drop a few, then I had to boil them in a pot of stinky black dylon for ages. and then they ended up being a horrible dark grey colour....
a few more tweaks and more attention to detail will make it Uber.
after all that i despaired and used duct tape to make a string of them which i then attached to my shoulders.
