Actually, I found today's box of Pocky to be rather meh, so while I like the stuff, I shall not be spazzing over the stuff any more. I think I'm starting to become a more mature fan of Japanese culture all-round, my overall level of squee-ing seems to have dropped dramatically.

The pocky I bought at expo wasn't as nice as I remember it being... I put it down to being melty over the weekend. I have a box of proper Japanese pocky (rather than the thai stuff I got from the Tokyotoys stand) that a boy bought for me, I'm saving it for a rainy day.

As long as you don't open the inner foil wrapping it keeps for ages, years even;
I had a box of special fortune telling pocky that came from Cybercandy 2 years ago (I was in living the midle of nowhere and before I started going to cons so it was the only way I could get it), it got eaten earlier this year and was perfect (if a bit broken).
