Well from my exprience since I used to help my friend host songlist for disco or j-pop party, I decided a generic theme to the songs to hopefully apply to everyone, it caters for the emo, the cheese fest group, the boppy lot, the real-ass shakers, the flirtatious lot, the clubers and the show-offs! ^^

cradle of filth, marylin manson, fall out boy, add sum real head bangy stuff.... along wiv classics...
tho i wouldnt mind any jpop/jrock/jmetal :d... id get up to that

Considering the second to last post had Queen in it, I might aswell add a few legends in myself.
Those lot being The Beatles.
Even if it's just Yellow Submarine, I'd be sated.
Although, tunes like Revolution could be used in our little chillout section; I'm a hippie, I should know. :3

I have seen my friends do it, but I think I am too inexperienced with the equipment to know better. For the atmosphere I wouldn't mind having like a saturday night fever dance floor that lights up (like Flares for those of you who have been). If not, certainly cycadellic lights in the room lol.
