We don't know if its both days or the one, we are also running the Red Rover so we need separate times, it also depends on how succesfull it is and how the chessboard is after the first day!

But don't worry, i'll update the second the group has decided!

I doubt it, I would imagine it would be done with either tape (Like police tape) or chalked onto the floor.
Cement would be EXPENSIVE.

Says on first post they are bringing a board. Which most probably means they have one of the giant roll up chess boards made for giant chess pieces, or one they made themselves. However from what I have seen of Human Chess on youtube, even the boards made for Giant Chess pieces can get very cramped once filled.

I do not envy them carrying it to con, unless driving of course.

The board is being supplied by Leaders Cosplay and will either be set up at the entrance to the expo in the plaza, or down the steps where the grass banks are.

Yeah the chessboard is being made by us, we will either be brining large peices of card and taping them into place, or by painting a large DIY sheet in checkerboard and then taping them down, either way, duct tape will be involved!

well sunday is more entertaining cause saturday u got many meetups going on and shopping and etc, so saturday is mainly meet up and buy, sunday is more playing games to remember for a long time

Any type of ninja is fine, come as Samuel L Jackson if you want! It's not any particular fandom requirement, you can join the side that you agree with if you want...

Should do checkers too, and when a piece is kinged, a previously captured piece from the opposing team has to give them a piggyback ride XDD

I AM SO BLOODY SORRY ABOUT THAT! Yeah, I was the angry girl, i just apologised/explained what happened to your mate on another forum. Our groups we're crashing togather and it did get messy when we all decided to merge. I know i might have been a bit angry but it was purly because i couldnt be heard, no one knew what was happeneing and from chav/troll attacks! But it was also the fact that this is what our group is only really known for, so we have to cling onto it like the fist of god. But hey, we're doing it again in May 10, you should defo join us and help with the yelling/controller side, you have a load voice.

And we did start the chess, but A) we forgot cosplayers lack patience what with the sugar and all, and B) there was the smoke bomb group from Saturday there trying to cause trouble, so we called it off for safety.

Still, we weren't really mad at you. If we were we would have actually dropped you in the Thames, ratherthan giving up hlafway.
