London Expo Rock Band 2 Tournament October 09 Ediiton

ONCE AGAIN! The London Expo will have play host to the Rock Band 2 Tournament run by DDRUK and myself.
Will Teamfourstar be able to keep the crown, will OMG B& Bring the pain (Or feel it in the case of Dinosaur Jr,) Can Godknows bring there "A" game? Will WildsquallKodiax come back from the grave and fight for first? Or will some random band come out of no where and take the crown?
Come down to the Rock Band area of the DDRUK Stall and get ready to have your balls physically ripped off and jammed down your throat.

-Rule set-
Seeding
Seeding is done via a single song selected on the day out of a possible 6 songs, spanning Disk Only songs (So RB1, RB2 or AC/DC)
A band gets ONE shot at seeding and must do so within the alloted time.
The highest 4 scores are put through to the next round
Round 2:
Each band selects 1 song, the highest seed is allowed to pick first, then each subsequent seed after. Songs that have already been picked may NOT be picked again (IE. Band 1 picks "Welcome Home", Band 2 wants to pick it as well, and is forced to pick another)
After all 4 songs have been chosen, each band plays all 4 songs, the first seed plays all 4 songs first, again followed by all subsequent seeds. The 2 highest overall scores go through to the final.
Final:
The 2 Remaining bands select 2 songs each, again creating a 4 song setlist, the highest scoring band from Round 2 goes first. Again the same song can not be chosen twice, nor can a song picked in Round 2 (To save sanity after hearing the song 4 times previously)
The band with the highest overall score is declared winner and may celebrate with arm pumps or crotch thrusting, or a combination of both.

Of course there's fighting talk! After winning the comp and just hearing most people say "Oh we just let you win" "We would have won if it wasn't for..." "I was by far the best drummer there" "Blah blah blah I'm arrogant" and whatever other negative comments there were before from probably just sore losers was pretty lame in all honesty.

Now I do not direct that at everyone. OMG B& you guys are awesome and really friendly and so were a few other people but we entered to HAVE FUN. A lot of these negative comments and other arrogant people almost put some of us off wanting to play again but we've gotten our spirits up and are going to use this as motivation to come back next Oct and prove that we not only deserved that win but are good enough to win it again! We're not gonna just roll over! And what's more is I personally am gonna play to have fun and to not let my band mates / really good friends down! Masako X, Hosagi, Zexel you guys rock and thanks for letting me be a part of TeamFourStar

Crowd Singalong Band FTW! I sure hope they make a return. Oh, and after a tragic turn of events, God Knows have disbanded and have resorted to cosplaying for October. That's not to say it's members aren't going to be around to play

I can't believe people would make sore loser comments such as "I was by far the best drummer there", That isn't the sort of attitude I want people to have, if you lost "meh" it's a fun contest at the end of the day, It was free to enter this time, so why the complaining.
I want this contest to remain fun, I've met some quality people whilst holding these tournaments, Many of which I speak to off season, I also hope people come away happy after playing in a good ol' tournament.
I'm still pestering Col for the final picture I need, when I get that I should get a full score sheet sorted. Again sorry its taking so long.

I don't think that's a band name I'm entirely cool with, Remember I have to yell these out in an environment with kids around. As much as that name brought a chuckle to my other wise grissly and hate filled face, I'd be sayin' no to that one man, sorry . Try the Ikneeda Piza-Quilk or Ida Jausfauted if you want me to yell something silly out
