Phoenix Wright group! (the Epic Phoenix Wright Skit)

This is the topic known as...the Epic Phoenix Wright Skit. *dramatic music*

On the Sunday 25th of October, we will be having an epic skit in the masquerade! We will also have an epic photoshoot that afternoon, with much frollicking around as our characters 8D

TIMINGS!! for the weekend! FINALISED 8D

Saturday:
8.00 - meal at Wagamama's is booked for. Possible meet up at ExCel at 7.30 (to give us time after the masq to get back and change (and in me and Pickle's case, get face paint off xD)

Sunday:
Beginning of Expo - signing in to be done by Freyarule
possible 11-whenever Photoshoot - everyone come and join us near the grassy hill! or find the Objection signs!
Possible photographer at 12/1 to do funky shoot (if anyone knows anyone with a cool camera, drag them along!)
Around 2.15 - go backstage for the masq.
Around 3.00 - TEH MASQ 8D

We might also do some random videos of us investigating people like in the game, and using the magatama on people saying "I KNOW YOU HAVE PSYCHE LOCKS DAMMIT" as well as Objecting to people. Maybe doing a mock trial for ideas that weren't in the skit.


Skit storyline (liable to change)
Phoenix, Ema and Maya are in Hazakura Temple, investigating on who stole the fabled BANANACHEESECAKEPIE! Franzy comes on with Laurice (Larry) and informs them that he's the witness and isn't going to say anything. Phoenix produces his magatama which produces a huge psyche-lock, and he despairs. Mia and Dahlia's ghosts come on and taunt him instead of help him, but Phoenix suddenly realises what to do - he sets Gumshoe onto Larry.


I hope we can pull this off because it's so exciting! SQUEEEEEEEEEE

I cosplayed Franziska von Karma in may, people may have seen me walking round waving an objection sign. I loved being her, shes just awesome. I have cosplays set for both days already but I would love to be her again for the skit and photoshoot! My other cosplays will be relativly simple so it wont be much trouble for me to change into my Franziska for a little bit. I can put on a vague german accent and call everybody foolish fools, no probs! Count me in!!!

We did a phoenix wright photoshoot in may too, there are some pictures of it around somewhere, it was v cool, but hopefully this time, more people!!!

If its for a skit, it doesn't matter too much on the Home-madeness of a cosplay unless you're being judged on the costume rather than the performance. (not too sure though rules may change for October.)

Well, having noted the response to your query in the masquerade topic, it looks like my chances of getting in are good. So I'm a definite if wanted/allowed, it's a very easy costume to change into >.>

If you and your group members have made everything else then you will probably be fine. We are likley to scritinize Phoenix Wright cosplay since a lot of the outfits are potentialy store bought so please keep this in mind.

Unfortunately with the interest in the masquerade as high as it is we need to be quite tight on the costume construction rules

This may mean our chances of getting in are very very slim....*sob* plus there's a huge Sailor Moon group entering on the Sunday too, but I don't know if they're performing...

But-but the masquerade needs Feenie love...;A;

Same! But as far as I know with everyone else's cosplays, they're being handmade so we shouldn't have to worry too much.

We'd still love to have Ema with us though :3

And I encourage everyone to take progress pics, so that if we do get questioned, we can show proof >D

But the good thing about Phoenix Cosplays is that it's bought clothes that usually have to be ALTERED!

Altering isn't so bad as long as it's made into something "completely" different. They are more likely to be lenient on Shoes, and pants. =3 Also the fact we're going to strut our stuff on stage in the skit rather then anything, then it should be alrights X3
