Blair is nearly finished as well, I'm wearing it to a meet on saturday and will post pictures on here when I can, I actually have made the flick in the boots as well! But my friend helped make the boot covers....I would fail if I did it on my own....
Need to get contact lenses soon as well....never worn them before.....any tips anyone???

Ok ^_^

First off, do you wear glasses or are you at all short or long sighted? That will affect the type of lenses you'd need to buy.
If you don't need lenses with a prescription, you'll find they are pretty accessible and not hugely expensive (usually about 10-20 quid, either per lens or per pair).
There's loads of contact lens sites online, just type 'coloured contact lenses uk' into google and a whole list will come up. Then you can go through and find the colour/style/price that suits you best.
If you need prescription lenses (i.e. if you wear glasses), these are often more expensive and difficult to find. Again, just search in google and have a browse.

The most important thing with contact lenses is that you keep them clean. They are going in your eyes after all. You can get hold of contact lens cases and cleaning fluid (also used to store them in) in either opticians or chemists/pharmacies. It's important to clean each lens before and after you put them in your eye (put a few drops of the cleaning fluid onto a CLEAN hand and use a finger to gently rub the lens in the solution. Rinse with more fluid after you've done that) as well as changing the solution in the case often between wears.

As for putting your lenses in, there's loads of different methods and you need to find what's most comfortable for you. One of the easiest ways (I find), is to balance the lens on your second or third finger on your dominant hand, use the second finger (on your other hand) to pull your top eyelid up and your third finger to pull your bottom eyelid down, look straight ahead and gently slot the lens into your eye. It sometimes takes more than one attempt to put a contact lens in. If so, rinse the lens, relax and try again. It may help to watch tutorials online, as seeing the process is often more explanatory than reading a description of how to do it.

As for taking the lenses out, open your eye up with your second and third finger like you would if you were putting the lenses in, slide the lens to the side with your third finger on your dominant hand and pinch the lense out. Rinse them and put clean solution in the case before storing.

I've worn contacts for years, as well as the coloured/patterned ones. I also know what it's like when you don't care for them properly or put them in wrong D: Sorry to everyone who it doesn't apply to, I didn't think it would take up that much room ^_^''

Thanks, I bought them on Saturday and wore them for my cosplay groups meetup.
Literally, me and my friend were in the toilets trying to work out how to get them in. It finally worked though ^^
I MADE A GUY FALL OER IN FEAR, WOOHOO!
Only problem with cat eye contact lenses is that they TURN D': You have to turn them back like every two minutes!

Don't panic, when I organised the SE group in May, they didn't put it up at all for the Saturday but I still got a badge, etc. They didn't even follow it up.
