From my understanding, gesso is some kind of primer coat that smooths things out before a layer of paint. I guess I'll find out properly when I get some tomorrow, though 8,D

Emperor wig arrived a few days ago, so I've had fun snipping out my mullet. Next is to somehow dye white/blue bits into it and bead it like crazy <3 Other stuff is... progressing. Floucing around wearing my cape makes me feel so cool o3o

your cosplays are just so epic... I've kinda come to a halt. My work station... my grandparent's house... is kinda full of boxes... they're moving house so I wont be able to make a lot of progress until mid september... >.< which leaves me with not a lot of time to get a wiggle on... AAAAHHHH!!!

haha, well my nan made my mum's Wedding dress when she married my dad, and the bridesmaid's dresses... I think she's pretty adept. :3

All I did was tell him that I was gonna cosplay Yuffie, he looked it all up and got the wood. I then said to Nan that I was gonna make one out of paper maches cause I CBA with wood and she kinda slipped out with the surprise O__O
