Ha ha, that would be a lot of fun. A lot of the people who got into cosplay when it boomed a few years back are over 21 now, so there'd be a fair chunk of the 'old guard' there - those who still attend Expos, anyway.

Sorry guys, I beat you all (age wise)!! I guess I would be classed as very old person to some of you!! Nowhere near as old as the 82 year old cosplaying Rikku that was doing the rounds a few of years ago.
I started cosplaying in 2008 with my daughter and her friend, I was so nervous I nearly fainted away! Now I love it and it makes me feel great, I aslo love making the costumes! I was going to come as Halo Kitty this October but I may change the plan yet.

when you think about it anime and manga and infact cosplaying has been going on for so long now that its not un common at all to find cosplayers over way over 21.
in fact some of the older cosplayers pull the most retro and awesome cosplays outta the bag and they look amazing XD
i saw a brillient sharon apple a while ago i loved that anime XD *wipes a tear at the awesome memories*
also their is ment to be a moomin there this year, i worshipped the moomins when i was little XD

I'm 25 and from Cheltenham. I go with a group of friends every year. They're aged 23, 25, 26, 27 and 30! See were nothing but a bunch of OAP cosplayers!
