Human Cosplay Chess [REGISTERED]

Postby Insane Melody on Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:01 am

So who's up for a great game of human chess!

When:
MCM Expo
Saturday (and Sunday too apparently) on the green, green grass outside
30th October
1pm

How it works:
There are two roles you can have: player and pieces.
Pieces will obviously just be a piece. You'll get a hat with your piece logo on and then you just shut up, stand there and wait for the player to move you.
...Players play ;D

WE STILL NEED:
No one! We're fully booked. If you would like to play, please message me and I'll put you down on the reserve list. :)

MCM Fringe have approved, but you'll all need to get writstbands on the day. Go to the desk inside Expo on the day and get a free wristband for this event. You can't participate without one.

Team A:
PLAYER: mgg-thunder
King - Chris King
Queen - Iain Clark
Bishops - David Việt Hồ, Shamu 'Tobi' NinjaFox
Knights - Dan Jack Weinberger, Jack Defer
Castles - Alvin Jose, Spectreon
Pawns - Undertaker667, Ember Sh, Nawshin Quadri, Jean-Paul George-Powell, Amanda 'Hibari' Parry, Kirsty Reader, Lucy Kinch, Luke Joe Guy Howard

Team B:
PLAYER: Leeon Gigli
King - Paul Seamus Cohen
Queen - Paz Bombo
Bishops - Mo Comfort, Oscar Kira Chérri
Knights - Vincent Poon, Sandy Cooper
Castles - Sarah Itachi Ball , JellyTheGreen
Pawns - Michael Prosser, Callum Gir Frraser, James Columbus Garner, Luke Atkinson, sedra, NezzyTensai, ozwell, Yamakaze'd

(:

I'm up for it~ If it's not too much trouble, I'll be a castle, please?
Also, which day is this for?

Yeah, we'll be playing speed/rapid/quick chess, and each side has a total time of 15 minutes. This way the game won't go on for too long. I'm hoping to start by 1:15pm and finish before 2pm.

Ah, I'd love to play!

I just need to check my times and whatnot, otherwise I'm good with being a pawn/rook for either team (:

I'll post the rules up shortly. But it'll be basic chess, but with each team only having a total of 15 minutes.

ALL SPACES ARE NOW GONE. If you would like to attend, please say so and I'll put you down on the reserve list! ^_^

I've had one cancellation, if you'd like to take part? I have a space for a pawn/rook on team A. I'll put you down.

Considering the weather and how little warmth my cosplay will give, I'll turn up but may have to cancel at the last minute. I'll try to grin and bear it however!
