Hiya, just thought I would add my 2 cents and say that I will be cosplaying Lightning Dissidia version (Odin swords and rose petals included XD) and my friend will be doing Serah on the Sunday (might change to both days but not sure yet).

Hiya. This group is looking amazing, and I am impressed with the organisation.

Anyway, would like to join in all the fun and say that I am planning to go as Noctis Lucis Caelum (Versus XIII) on Friday and Steely Blade Squall (Dissidia 012) on Saturday though unsure whether to bring normal gunblade or Lionheart.

@Xiao: This year, I thought it would be fun to try something different, a bit more organized with a "Party Ibiza goes FF" feel to it. Glad you're enjoying it. The Facebook Group has gone NUTS! I tell you, if you ever want to fuel your fire or get some tips and help, theres not better place to be for help. Alternatively please feel free to just drop this thread a couple of questions and we'll do our best to vomit some awesome results

Which reminds me.

Sasashie and Myself with the help of the Final Fantasy Round-Up have put together a couple of things for us to be getting involved with, so whether you're around the area, living nearby or staying at the hotels during and after the expo, it's a great opportunity to get stuck into it!

Firstly! We're gathering our teams for the Masquerades on Saturday and Sunday

If you're DEFINITELY going into the Masquerade, please post as well as what Character you will be going as and what version.

This should be a good posting format.

Character > Series > Variant Costume
i.e. Cloud Stride > Final Fantasy VII > Advent Children Version (<<Over done but always good to see)


That was we can find out who's around and get everyone gathered for the Masquerades and Photo shoots.


Speaking of Photoshoots! We have James from Cosplay Portrait (whom I know you've all had photos or purikura with) and Steph personally doing us a massive deal! If we get 20 people into the deal on the day or prior to the expo, they will set us up with some amazing shots set on some awesome industry-quality lenses and cameras to provide us some of the best shots ever.

It'll be £25 and the more the people the more likely the price will drop. But the package in mind includes the following:

5 printed shots of our chosen photos. And Considering that we'll get a digital copy of them, thats not too bad. and the shots will be between A2-A4 I think..

Again this thing needs the kinks ironed out but once we've found out more, we'll have the deal nailed for everyone!
I've also got some amazing photographers nearby with me as well as my own photography and movie crew (Hopefully..using my equipment which is all Nikon standard 15-200mm Zoom lenses) So stick around the Round-up!

We've also got lots of BIG group photo shots nearby on the Quad (the green area near the river) So keep a close eye on us as we take over the green!


And then on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights- we will be partying non-stop at various different locations, but mostly likely you'll see us on the Green/Quad and in a few of the other locals around there area for some UNADULTERATED FUN!

The stuff Sqaure Enix HAD to BLANK OUT in the cutscenes! LOL

Cpt.Wakka - Any chance you know when the masquerade applications come out? Not the performance ones, the walk on type one. Cos I have a group planned for the Masquerade and I'm worried that I'm gonna miss the registration. :/

Duck- Not sure yet. from What I know applications for Eurocosplay opens a month before the Expo starts otherwise most people can apply as they walk in. Thats the one you'll be entering.

As such we have the Following Characters from the Dissidia range coming along.

So far from what I know, anyone else that wants to join the list let us know and we'll make sure you're readily updated with the round-up and when the meet is, so you can plan and get to know your fellow team members for an awesome Cosplay!

Was going to change half way into Yuna X-2 but my costume kind of failed in the sewing department -.- *sigh*
