cosplay progress

I really feel like my cosplay's finally getting there I've started posting short photo updates on my blog the last few days (http://skyofsilver.blogspot.com/, if anyone's curious how's it's looking), and I'm probably about 80% finished so far.

My main thing is finishing props. Gotta finish my dagger and I'll be working with leatherette for the first time to make the sheath. Anyone got any tips for that? I think I need a special needle for it (well, I know you do for real leather, anyway), but I'm not sure about thread or anything ^^;

I just need to alter the top part of my costume (adding the sleeves etc), then I have to dye the whole thing as the dress I'm altering is white not blue!
I also have to make an apron, but I'm tempted to just alter the one I already have.
Brought the wig this morning. May try and find better boots. I also need to find a fake knife/blade. The weapon isnt nessecary but it would be nice to have.
All in all I have a long way to go, but I always enjoy making things so its not too bad

Pretty much finished Scabior now, just waiting on the only piece i'm not making, which is the wand!

Got the belt I need ordered now too, so just need to weather that and finish the lining to my jacket and i'm good to go!

Me and Char from HCLA Brigade are going in Lolita!
They are really cool and cant wait to show everyone!

I'm waiting for a new Dynasty/samurai warriors/ Orochi to come out before i cosplay someone!
(warriors orochi 3 comes out pretty soon!)
Will probs do that for London expo in October!

For my Tusna cosplay everything is going smoothly! I have my orange jumpsuit, the school uniform that I may put underneath, wig, gloves and rings, my eyes are brown so that's a good thing, not sure how to make the flame on his head though :I

Apron is finally done! Just waiting for the blood to dry. I'll then need to puff the sleeves and I'll be done!

Sadly, because I'm a lazy teenager who has no money, or motivation, I don't think I'll come in cosplay. Unless there is an easy way. Like a Totoro face paint? :D
