Hollywood version of Death note?

Well anyway, what are your views on Hollywood making a live action version of Death Note?

I was quite annoyed when I heard this because I don't want Death Note to become over-rated AND I definitely don't want Zac Efron to play teh role of Light...

well there already is live action death note movies but they are japanese and the movies are so fantastic! and there is definatly no high school music actors in it , but if there is an american version then i havent heard of it yet.
