You could have said exactly the same thing about Toy Story 2, the first one was a classic no need for a sequal etc etc.
But they made it, and as you said it was "absolutely amazing".
What's to stop the third one from being just as good? As long as the a decent plot, and the quality of the animation is high, it should be a good film
And as it's been in development for years! I am pretty sure it will be.

Shouldn't be so close minded, it's too easy to jump on the oh sequels are rubbish bandwagon.
Isn't as cool as you.

Funny thing is, everyone who loved Toy Story as a kid will be in their late teens now.
So all the cinemas are gonna be cram packed with teenagers pissing themselves with pure nostalgia.

I know I will.

I cried inside when I saw the trailer, inner tears of love and nostalgia.

It's true what someone said above, I'm sure no one had high hopes for Toy Story 2, but that was a damn great movie. Just hoping Shrek syndrome doesn't kick in and murder it.

But it's been in the making for so long, I'm sure it's going to be fantastic :D

I said Toy Story 2 was going to be ....so I think I'll reserve judgement until I'm actively watching the film LOL

As everyone else is doing, considering Toy Story 2 was amazing as a sequel, I'll only insult the idea of a third movie if I see it and it sucks.
I've been looking forward to it since its announcements. I believe the first two are meant to be shown in 3D in cinemas first? :?

Seen the full-length trailer, I liked it but for some reason wish the original animation quality was re-used for this film. It just looks weird somehow but I'll get used to it.

Late teens? IM 21 xD And will be 22 when it comes out

the original movie will be 15 years old when the third one is released. Good lord. It seems ages ago when putting it in those kind of numbers.

There's been confusion over this. ;)

Toy Story 3D was released in cinemas for one week a little while back, which was just the first film but in 3D. The second film will be getting the same treatment soon, and then a little while after that the all-new Toy Story 3 (in 3D) will hit cinemas. Hope that cleared it up. :P

I was a kid when Toy Story was released, I think most fans are in their 20's or more now, I think the older ones are way way more excited about Toy Story 3 than the kids are.

Can't believe it's been 15 years since the first Toy Story. I FEEL SO OLLLLLLLLLLDDDDD.

And I agree, I think the people born in the early 90's (like myself XD) are the ones most excited about this film. Just goes to prove we're all still little kids inside. :D
