Remembering Ingrid Pitt

Postby Mr.Markzilla on Thu Nov 25, 2010 12:13 am

I went to a lot of the earlier Memorabilia shows and there was one presence there that no one could've missed, horror legend, Ingrid Pitt, who, I'm so sad to say died today aged 73. She was such a kind and generous person and someone who I had to meet every time I went, in fact, I've got more autographed photos and items from Ingrid than anyone else. Ingrid was a constant presence at the Memorabilia and she deserves some kind of tribute from us so I am starting this topic to say how honoured I am to have met such a powerful screen actress.

Along with Roy Ward Baker, we've lost another Hammer icon so, for all of you who have never seen a Hammer movie, for shame! Go out and get Countess Dracula or The Vampire Lovers and see what you've been missing.

Hopefully, any messages can be gathered together by Admin and passed onto Ingrid's estate.
Warning. Yellow crayons do not taste of bananas.
