I've had some short stories published in the past for regional competitions, but I don't talk about them much because it was basically an "anyone can get in this book thing" (this was proven when someone wrote a story about radioactive monkeys and a talking bin and were published next to my story T_T). I do write normal, 'big' stories but I've had to neglect them since the revision started. I got bored last week and made a myspace that summed all the things up on http://www.myspace.com/amethysteyes_writing

I'm the writer/artist of a webcomic project Fera, working on getting my 2nd issue ready for print for the expo in May as well as a couple of other projects.

I'm currently working on a lot of cartoon series ideas. Just finished the pilot and second script to one yesterday.
One has hit big and I am waiting for the company to find two finance groups to stump up the cash. Others will follow on the back of this but even though I'm desperate to shout it from the rooftops, I can't because of copyright issues. Grrrrr!
This has been a long and very hard search and has taken me over twenty years to get to this point...Art teacher said "you'd be nothing but a two-bit artist!" Careers Officer actually laughed in my face.
For anyone desperate to break into art and writing, take a look at the following books...

The Writer's & Artists Yearbook,
The Writer's Handbook (yearly publication)
Contacts (yearly publication)(also good if you want to break into acting)

Search Amazon or visit Waterstones to get hold of them, they're about £12.00 each

And no this is not an advert, those books have helped me.
They're full of addresses of companies (tv, film, childrens media, books & agents) along with contact tips from professionals.

Our publishers described it as "The antidote to Twilight", Which is exactly what we were aiming for xD

I love to write, but have never had anything published fiction wise.
