Aye I be going to the Midlands Expo this year so long as my ride there doesn't back down at the last minute xD Which rarely happens so it's good to say that yes I will be there xD

And yes they do usually sell plushies at expo =3 Usually ranging from £8-25 depending on how big it is

I'm annoyed too, but at the same time, happy as I was worried there wasn't going to be one. I can't afford to go the London ones really, so Telford is my saviour. At least there is one! I'll be dragging my brother along, and probably his friends knowing him, but I don't mind.

Is it bad that I only heard it about half hour ago and already have cosplay plans?

Midlands isn't better than London, but I do understand that it's difficult for those living outside of London (heck, I'm moving to the Midlands in the summer). Plus, I thought it did well last time so I am at a loss as to why there is only one day...

I was disappointed too!

That's perfectly alright, hence why I was teaching you so that you don't make the same mistake in the future ^_^ Every board has different rules so it's all good!

London is too damn far away for me, although I only live in the midlands
Telfords event is right on my doorstep and I LOVED! Last years February event.
I will DEFINITELY be going ! :D :D
I am really looking forward to September now!

I will be taking more pictures this time ¬_¬
I annoyed myself for not taking enough last time.
I even forgot the damned digital camera.
Lucky I had my phone

Midlands expo is amazing, especially for first timers, it's smaller and less confusing that London and it has a really great community =D

Yay, a date! <3
But, one day...?

Living just outside of Telford, I'm gutted to learn that Midlands Expo will only be one day in September. Because of the distance between other cons and where I live (due to finance implications), I've never been able to make a whole weekend for a con before. Last September at Midlands was the first time I maanged to do that, and the experience was simply amazing. I was looking forward to doing the same this year, but obviously, it won't be happening now =/

I think people who live North-wards find Midlands a blessing, considering how much train fares are to get to London - even from the Midlands, they're pretty expensive. I feel like everyone from the Midlands up is being neglected. I understand that an event can't go ahead if it's not popular enough for companies to break-even, but surely guys, there's some way to advertise more/cut back on expenses?

Life sucks D=

Aye they'll most likely be selling pocky at the TokyoToys stand =D And TokyoToys are regulars at the expo [I don't think I've ever NOT see them there!] so there will most likely/definately sell pocky there =D
And yes it is very nice xD... Though I'm getting a bit bored of some of the flavours after eating them for so long xD;; Still I love the Milk and Men's pocky xP [Lol... men's pocky XDD]
