I've STILL got more things to do to the Falcon Helmet. Mainly touching up paint and stuff.
I swear I'm gonna get the transfer printed and ironed on tonight.
The belt buckle arrived a couple of days ago, so we're gonna attach that to the belt soon.
My mum got me a toy gun in Bristol a last week, so that minor detail is complete.

My Osaka cosplay is going failingly badly.
Got a skirt (that was past knee-length) and hemmed it so its now the right length.
Made the sailor-back thing that I don't know what its real name is, but need grey/silver beads to put the two sides together.
Still need blue top, and need to either cut my hair or get a wig.

But its not big enough and too rough.

So I have to re-make it. If I can't re-make it in time, my cosplay will look like this;

Though with black eyebrows. I photoshopped them orange. I'm not dedicated enough to shave them off, and I can't hide them with foundation. D: Also, I know the wig is like D: there, I hurried with putting in the hair pins. They really annoy me, so I may not bother with them if I can't put them in nicely. They hate me.
As you can see, that bow is made of lame. So I'm remaking another. Uniform was purchased but I'm only using the jacket. Reminded to self. In future, iron fabric before sewing. -_- I cheated with the skirt though. Its just zig-zag folded rather then sewn panel by panel. I don't have the patience. XD I'm also out of elastic so I have to use the stuff I used in my original bow. I'm glad I didn't sew it. I have to draft a bigger pattern for the bow. Luckily I have plenty of red satin left. I was going to re-make my Orihime Arrancar costume. Though all I have is white polycotton. Which means I'd prolly need to double it up if I was going to use that, also meaning, I'd only have enough for one part. And I'll buy a white hakama. XD I have bias tape and a perfect sized zip. I wont be wearing it in Sept. I'm not cosplaying Orihime for three expos in a row.

Major setback- my sailor neck thing has gone missing, and I have no pattern.
Back to the drawing board, trying to create a pattern again, with only a Navy-uniform wearing bear for ideas.

I've just found an older (practice) version of my collar thing- stuck together with good ol' Bondaweb, so I think I'm going to be able to edit it a bit and guesstimate an OK-ish pattern. Its going to be such a failed cosplay

cosplay looks great
you can easily and temporaily change dark eyebrows to your chosen colour by using pva glue and acrylic paint,ive tried it and it works suprisingly well

I've taken the old collar, realised it was completely terrible, and now made a pattern for one that I think will hopefully work!
I am now figuring out seam allowance and marking my material, and tomorrow I'm raiding the schools Textiles department and stitching it together =) Then just have to find a little gold bead or something for the middle and I'm done!

Ah..the whole raiding the schools sewing machines didn't go too well- I broke three
So tonight I'm hand-sewing the collar, oh so fun. Or might just resort to Wonderweb.

Also just raided Asda and Focus, managed to find tights and these weird plumber tool gold /things/ that will be good for.. well, I dunno what it was for, but I remember needing some.
Also decided to add ChiChi/Chiyo's Dad floating along behind me, so I've got some garden wire to attach him to my costume!

Finished hand-sewing the collar!
Took four and a half hours 'cause I have no attention span or sewing skills xD
Hopefully sewing together the arm things during my Textiles lesson tomorrow (where theres a teacher to fix my machine!), and I'm going to draw the blue lines on with a sharpie or a comic art pen
Might just get it done in time!
Just going to live with the wrong hair, and I just found out, the wrong shoes. Ah well.

BAD NEWS! my costume parts didn't arrive on time so i cant go as a nekomimi however ive managed to throw ogether a last minute soubi costume i think it looks ok
