The lack of accents did kinda suck and it took me a good 20 minutes to figure out that Cruise was meant to be German. xD But overall, it was very much the thriller. Had me on the edge of my seat at times, even though the ending was obvious! But the movie pretty much overkilled the whole 'I'm-a-family-man' side of Stauffenberg at every moment it could.
Yeah it was very suspenseful, especially those who didn't play attention in History class.
There is a German version called Stauffenberg, which focuses a lot more on the man rather then the actual plot, and has a lot more on his family. Is it just me, or did people see to have loads of children in those days D:
Ha, yeah, I regret buying that. Shoulda known that they'd . up trying to make their own film about L as opposed to sticking to the source material. It seems like they were trying to make a Western Action film, but with L. Really doesn't work, horribly written, L does things L wouldn't do, the black sheep of the whole Death Note franchise.
Went and saw the new Terminator film this evening. I enjoyed it, totally different to the first two, but that was to be expected. I geuss kinda like the third, but not at the same time.
I liked that there were loads of subtle references to the previous films.
Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen. all the critics are right ,there is almost no plot to this movie, but if you wanna watch robots fight for 2 hours and 40 minutes this is pretty good. Essentially it's a bad movie but if you don't care about plot, it's an okay movie; too long though.
Screw the critics, and I didnt think it was too long, I dont really watch a movie about giant robots for the plot, I watch it for the awesome robots, cool cars and epic explosions. I'm in love with the animation on both Transformers films, I think they did an amazing job and its easilly some of the best CG and composit to date.
