What Was First Anime You Watched?

Pokemon, but at the time I'd never heard of anime or manga and I was 11. At 15, I bought the X/1999 movie on video, but even then, I didn't know about anime, not until I was about 17, because I thought it was just a cartoon but with more mature content, which it is, but you know... and then there's the Sonic the Hedgehog movie...

Probably my first official anime watched was Outlaw Star, maybe... because it was on tv.

Definately would have to be Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Pokemon and Card Captor Sakura all at the same time Ah the times when TV was actually good. TV now sucks in the UK.

Captain Tsubasa (1983)

OMG! Really 1983?

Woow, I see a lot of anime very young ... but know as see, around '94 "Urotsukidoji", and Dominion Thank Police, at RPG Club. ^_^u before I see, Captain Harloc, Candy Candy, Muscleman, Mazinger Z, Dr Slump, off course Dragon Ball too, and lots of more.
But, never Like "Saint Seiya" or Captain Tsubasa.

My prefer Movie, as Police Patrol Patlabor I & II, Wings of Honeamise [ AKA: Royal Space Force ] by Gainax.

Think my first was Tekkaman Blade. I think it was on Fox Kids in the 90's at some point? Can't really remember that far back!

The first anime I watched when I actually knew what anime was was one called Maburaho. It's one I'd probably never be interested in now (a harem), but nevertheless it holds a spot as my first.
