No idea. It's bloody strange, since the manga's still going. I'm hoping there'll just be a new series in a while, some new name, starting off with the Shimon arc.

The anime's finished now, yeah. It's followed the manga pretty much exactly - it just split the School Days arc into three, having some eps in between Kokuyo-Varia arcs and Varia-TYL arcs. That, and two brief fillers during TYL. I'm seriously hoping they're just getting a new team together for a new series or something, I need to see Shimon animooted ><;

And where did you hear that? o.o; I've heard nothing at all o.o

Theories. They were all over near the end of TYL - that wasn't the end. Impossible to say right now, since only one of the Shimon is fighting. Something'll happen by the time Tsuna and Enma fight - probably the truth about Giotto and Cozart. Depending on what that is, it might be more likely for this to be the last arc.

I don't think it will be though.

Also I think the whole reason for this arc is a major misunderstanding on Shimon's part. Look at what we know about Giotto already - it's not likely that Shimon's version of events is true. I'm betting that'll all be explained when Tsuna finally fights Enma though - then, or when this mystery informant Kouyo mentioned appears. I have a theory on that... not gonna expand on it due to the lack of spoiler tags on here =.='

THE MANGA IS CONTINUING
the main reason the anime is ending is because there's no 'filler' prepapres to stall time. Mostly because the anime and manga time lines are getting freakishly close.
they may restart the anime later on.

If you watch/read gintama, KHR! is going through the same phase.
